MY INSTRUMENTS

Hear the sound of my Celtic Harp on the COINNEAL and Winter Solstice CD

Folk harp with 29 nylon strings and levers, cherry / ash-tree, made by Handcrafted Dulcimers / Stone Mountain / U.S.A., following my ideas

Clairsach with 27 wire strings, replica of the so-called brian boru harp from Trinity College Dublin, self-made with support of Klangwerkstatt Markt Wald, Germany

Stage Piano Yamaha P 120

An allround piano with mechanical action and stereo samples of the most famous instruments, like the Yamaha grand piano.

Even the best e-piano does not feel like a good old fashioned upright. This one (Seiler & Co. Berlin 1908) has accompanied me from my beginnings.

Not brand new technology, but very useful for recording purposes and undestroyable on stage: my Korg workstation.

The grand church organ of St. Mary's in Wittstock... well, I don't exactly own it, but it's great fun to play.

Ancient lyra (alto) made by W. Lothar Gaertner / Konstanz / Germany, middle A tuned to 435 Hz.

Diatonic hurdy gurdy , made by Reichmann, Germany

Recorders by Moeck and Mollenhauer and tinwhistles

Rauschpfeife, a medieval instrument of the woodwind family, made by Moeck, Germany

For the low B:

Yamaha RBX 375 BL e-bass, five-string with two active hum-buckers

Bodhrán, the famous Irish drum

Highland bagpipes from Scotland
